My BS and MS were in Physical Education from Slippery Rock State College, PA (69 & 71 respectively). My Ph.D. was Motor Learning from The University of Iowa (76). I have taught in the public schools as an elementary physical education teacher and have been at Eastern for 20 years. I teach mostly elementary health & physical education methods and motor learning classes (both graduate and undergraduate levels). I have a large advising load and have authored books in The Science of Coaching Tennis and Elementary Health and Physical Education.. My hobbies are reading, painting, running, bicycling, swimming and hiking.
