Andy Jenkins,
Health, Fitness and Nutrition in Physical Education Section Editor
Dr. Jenkins is currently a professor in the PEHLS Department of Central
Washington University where he teaches a variety of classes including foundations
of health education, health screening and appraisal, exercise science, consumer
health and controversial health issues. Dr. Jenkins has published and presented
papers in the areas of storytelling and the narrative in health education,
adolescent suicide prevention, autoerotic asphyxia paraphilia, and herbal
drug abuse. He has published a textbook on controversial issues in health
and co-edited several others on drug abuse, death and dying, consumer health,
and sexuality. Dr. Jenkins has been a health/fitness editor for PElinks4U
since its inception. He is an avid outdoorsman and volunteers as a Rescuer/EMT
for Central Washington Mountain Rescue. |
