I wish Pat Summit would take the Head Coach job she was offered for the men's team. I haven't read anything about the offer but someone mentioned to me that it was offered but she turned it down. What do you think?

Well Sheryl, in my proffesional opinion, women shouldnt coach mens sports because i dont think men will listen to a female coach, although its quite a simple concept i feel it is what happens in practice

I would have to agree with you Sheryl. I think a female coach is just as well as a male coach. Female coaches can coach a male sport just as well as a male can. If a female coach tells the athletes up front what she expects from them, then there should be no problem. I do think the female coach should have knowledge of the sport she is going to coach. This way the athletes can respect the coach and what is being told to them. Other than that a female can coach just as well as a male.
