In the October 15th section of Technology in PE, I suggested some low tech ideas for assessment, such as simply recording student achievement on charts and using stickers. It seems to me that the biggest hurdle to encouraging PE teachers to assess is that it sometimes appears too complicated. It doesn't have to be. The main problem I perceive is the inertia that prevents us from beginning with something simple. If you have some simple assessment ideas, consider posting them here.
