Teaching Games for Understanding in Physical Education and Sport
International Conference 1-4th August 2001


Announcing the first world conference to focus solely on this inclusive and
innovative approach. The conference is sponsored by AIESEP, IYS, NASPE and
NHAHPERD. Presenters will consider the research, as well as ways to start,
implement and assess TGFU. Speakers include R.Scott Kretchmar, one of our
leading sport philosophers and Len Almond, one of the founders of TGFU, as well
as Judy Oslin and David Kirk. The conference site is the Waterville Valley
Resort Center in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains. Bring the family
and enjoy the activity package that goes with each night's stay (golf, mountain
biking, boating, athletic club etc.). Early bird registration saves you $40!

Oral and poster abstracts deadline Feb. 1st 2001

Early bird registration $240 By April 15th
Registration $280 April 15th - June 1st
Late Registration $300 June 1st - July 31st
On site Registration $310
Full-time student $110

Graduate Credits (3)
NH in-state $240 ($80 per credit)
Out-of-state $270 ($90 per credit)
