I am doing a research paper on what should be the priorities for an elementary
PE curriculum. Please rank the following in order of most important to least
important:
1. Specific sport skills (throwing a football, shooting a basketball)
2. Basic locomotor skills (skip, gallop)
3. Overall fitness
4. Dance
5. Team and cooperative games
6. Manipulative skills (juggling scarves, parachute)
Thanks for your cooperation!

I am a PE teaching major at Central Washington University. My classmates and I are in the process of building the ideal PE curriculum. You can go to my homepage at www.cwu.edu/~gossge and click on the curriculum link. I have an outline for the movement concepts you are looking for. This is mainly based on George Graham's Children Moving book and the NASPE standards. I hope this helps.

I am looking for an article about Juggling that appeared in the May 1996 edition of Teaching Elementary Physical Education. Is this available on the 'net?
