My school district is saying that I need to have a Math or Reading standard in my lesson everyday. I have a few good ideas but not enough to get me through the whole year. Does anyone have any good ideas for the Middle School years?

Incorporating math or reading standards should be relatively easy, especially if you have heart rate monitors that you mentioned in another post. Have your students record the information and interpret it in a journal (ELA). Interpret box scores in the daily paper, or the scores of the high school teams. You can find math and reading in your lessons...we are very integrated, but some of it needs to be brought to light. Good luck.
