Does anyone out there think it is ok as a physical education teacher to cheat or help other kids to their own advantage? When I was in high school there was another gym class that my friend was in and he got tested in the 1-minute long sit-up test and they gave him a 72, which was a school record. I on the other hand had 71 but I did it for the entire minute. The other teacher gave this student 30 seconds to do it and just doubled it. So he only had 36 within 30 secs. This to me is not fair because obviouslly you get tired the more you go. Does anyone else think that this is unfair?

Well we all know for a fact that student performance really drops off in that last 30 seconds. I think that the teacher that did this was probably just trying to crunch time and hurry things up a bit. This also, of course does not make it fair or even close to accurate. I would feel cheated if I had performed 71, but also if I was the student cheated for.
