When students enter middle school they begin to worry about their appearance and also realize they have to start training to continue to compete in athletics.

What is a good age to encourage a student to start weight-training?

I would say around the 8th grade level is a good age to introduce weight training. By this age students bodies are begining to develop and they need a proper education on how to fine tune their bodies for athletics and wellness.
