It's a hard and weird time for young women to go through puberty. They have emotions they can't control, they start showing more concern on what they look like, etc. What are some effective ways to reduce girls/young women's social physique anxiety to maybe increase their participation in physical education and sports?

It seems as though girls who participate in sports have a higher self-esteem, do well socially, and maintain good grades. Introducing sports into their lives at a young age before puberty can improve their outlook on sport participation later on, and reduce social physique anxiety when puberty sets in.
