I have to admit that women and sports have come a long way since women were orginally involved, which is great. One thing that always bothers me though is that women teams are still classified as "women" sports. For example,I played basketball in high school, but I didn't just play basketball, I played "women's basketball". Girl's are always walking around with shirts or hoodies that say girls soccer, women's lacrosse, girls rugby, etc. I don't understand why that need's to be classified. Men don't normally walk around with apparel that says men's basketball, mens baseball, or boys soccer. Any other opinions?
