I will be starting a rollerblading unit in a few weeks. Students have the option of renting skates from the school or bringing in their own. My principal is concerned some students' skates may ruin the gym floor. Does anyone know what types of skates or wheels are bad for the wood floor.

We use Rollerblade non-marking wheels and brakes - they work great. We have brand-new floors and they have not left any marks.
