I was just wondering what is a cheep and effective way to protect the gym floor from getting marks on it while instructing a hockey lesson. |

A cheap way they did this in my high school was they use long tube socks over the bottom of the sticks to protect the floor. You would put them over top and duct tape them to keep them on and they worked well and saved the floor from getting marked up. |

The tube sock is a very good idea. My high school wasn't that clever to think of that but during our hockey lessons the sticks were tapped around the whole perimeter of the blade and the heel of the blade and it seemed to help with at least some of the marks. |
