I helped with a JRFH event at my old high school. It was a decent sized project getting everything organized and what not but the JRFH staff was so helpful and would do anything to help out. The kids raised some money to help benefit the American Heart Association. If the kids raised some very little amount they could attend the JRFH event where one, they get out of class so they love it, second the learn a lot about jump roping and exercise, lastly they learn about the heart and get free prizes all day! Kids absolutely love it. This isn’t one of those assemblies where you have those kids falling asleep on the person next to them 

I think that this is a great program for students. It can teach them a lot about health and fitness (cardio). And if a child cannot quite get the timing down when using a jump rope they can jump rope with out the rope. they just jump in place and do the hand motions. This still get their heart rate up and they are getting great exercise while having a lot of fun. Almost all children love to jump around.
