PE Leaders H.S.

Do you think it is an affective program for students? After observing a High School (not so good) and going through the program at my High School(pretty good). I now have differnet thoughts about the program. What do you guys think?? Kathleen B. The PE Leader I observed was actually not really any sort of leader at all. The person was wearing Pajama pants and sandals and didn't join in the class in any way. The teacher seemed fine with it though so there didnt' seem to be any expectations that weren't being met. I think it could be a really good program if properly run and the PE Leaders had specific productive responsibilities to carry out. I know it works some places but here it seemed to be pretty useless.
