Students these days are coming up with some ingenious ways to get out of class. And many students know that if they misbehave they will get kicked out of class and not have to participate. Is there any way to dicipline students that will keep them participating in class, but will keep them from disrupting the other students and not let them get away with acting up? |

Great question and my thought on the situation would be to maybe have the students who never dress or always sit out, walk the whole period. If your gymnasium has bleachers have the students just walk back and forth until the class is over. If you don’t have bleachers, hopefully there’s another area they can walk but you can also keep an eye on them. I've seen this method done at some high schools and seems to work. A lot of the students would much rather participate in class rather than walk back and forth the whole period. Some students don't care and will choose to walk everyday but at least they're getting some physical activity. Hope this helps!
