Washinton State Require 2 credits (2 years) of health and fitness for graduation. Our district requires all freshman to complete 1 credit. However, an option to receive credit for outside activity--not school athletics--is available. QUESTION..What options are made available in other districts/schools? If any.

Our district presents a option for second year students to pass a fitness test along with written documentation that they are taking part in a recreational activity outside of school--non-athletic program. The test is taken twice--beginning and end of the year and documentation is provided twice. After the year they receive 1 credit.
