As an up and coming physical educator, I find myself curious as to the process of how curricula are created. I do not fully understand the process. How big of a part does the district vs the teachers play in creating a curriculum? As a newly hired teacher, do you generally have to wait before you can make any changes that you would like? Are you basically stuck teaching what someone else wants taught? Or does the process and situation literally differ in every case? I really appreciate any responses.
