Call for NASPE Intern: Spring 2010
NASPE is seeking an intern for the spring 2010 semester to help with the NASPE/ING Run For Something Better School-based Running Program. More information can be found on our website at www.naspeinfo.org/run. We will be starting our second year of this program in January 2010 with an application deadline of April 15. Some of the responsibilities will include filing and checking the applications for eligibility, organizing the review process, communicating with applicants, etc.
Additionally, the AAHPERD National Convention is March 16-20. Beginning in January/February NASPE staff will be looking for some assistance preparing for the upcoming conference. Ideally the prospective intern would be able to start late January/early February through June (negotiable) to assist in these preparations. An extension over the summer is also a possibility and part or full time applicants will be considered. For more information contact rlanders@aahperd.org or 703-476-3460.
