-Review Head Start Body Start Grant applications for awards to improve outdoor play spaces
-Complete reviews between June 1, 2010 and July 15, 2010
-User friendly rubric and on-line review system
-Letter of appreciation for community service
Head Start Body Start National Center for Physical Development and Outdoor Play (HSBS) will be awarding Play Space Grants of up to $5,000 each to Head Start centers nationwide to improve their outdoor playspaces. HSBS expects to receive hundreds of proposals this year. We need volunteers with experience in early childhood education, movement, and/or play space desgin to conduct proposal reviews in June 2010, in order to ensure the proposals are complete and align with HSBS’ expectations.
