"Attention Subscribers to naspe-talk, adapt-talk, thera-talk, and naspeforum daily digests

In early December 2005, during what should have been a routine capacity upgrade to our list server, we experienced a major disruption of service for all our popular digests. The server has been down for several weeks, not receiving any messages or sending any daily digests. We anticipate the new server being on-line and ready to operate during the last week in December."

Also, the email database has been erased (not compromised) and you will have to re-register when they are back online.

Paula...it's Jeannette Brelsford from PA. We had talked about Technology in PE and the addition of a job posting on this site probably a year ago. I see it is there! I have been very busy, as we all have, and haven't been chatting at I should. Some updates that I will be following thru with in the near future include the winning of the Carol White PE grant! Our school, Montoursville High School is now ranked #1 Nationally. We, Michael Cillo and myself, have combined with many companies and have the only Wellness Center with a Virtual Cycling in the world. We have also been invited to talk before congress. Do you think this would be a good place to start for networking for a business I am starting concerning this? Do you have any other ideas? I'm new at this so I welcome any advise!

Dear NASPE-talk and ADAPT-talk subscribes,

We're back! Thank you for your patience during this time of a
database failure.

On 11/21/2006, our list serve membership reached 10,000. In the
process of installing new hardware to accommodate more subscribers,
there was database failure which resulted in the lost of the last 3
years of data. There is a chance that this data will be recovered and
merged back into the archive database. All efforts are being made to
see if this retrieval of data is possible.

To assure that you will be on one of these list serves, please subscribe
again by following the directions at the bottom of this letter. In a
couple of days, digests will appear in your morning emails and we should
be back to normal.

The web interface for reading the archives is not yet operational but
should be up and running in about a week.

PLEASE send the word out that NASPE-talk and ADAPT-talk are back in
business. Many of you have sent me emails and have contacted other
members on the list serve about our interruption. I am grateful for
all your help.

Paula,
The problem is the confirmation link does not work that they send you in the email. I finally got through though. Thanks.
