I think heart rate monitors is a great idea for physical education, but they are so expensive. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about buying them?

Check out the Polar HRM web site. They have some suggestions and also an example for grant proposals.

One suggestion is to contact a local hospital and see what they can offer. It can be a great community resource for a hospital and a way to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Check out the highmark healthy high five grant. It is a great grant and very easy to fill out. It is only about a page or two and everyone that I know that filled one out has received this grant. Good luck!
