I was wondering if anyone had used "Dance, Dance, Revolution" in their classroom, and how effective it is to the students. Also, how do you incorperate it into your curriculum? Thanks!

I love DDR, but retired from teaching before I got to implement it in my class. I used Nintendo's virtual track meet on the power pad and the cycleFX bike with a Playstation Dirt Bike game. The new technology in the classroom is a great motivator...and the kids are extremely active. Be creative in your use of new technology into your curriculum...make it fit. Try EyeToy and the new Twister Moves. Many of these are affordable for home use also... Some are not affordable, but could be worth investing money to get some traditionally uninterested students interested in participating...Makato is another electronic device to motivate kids into activity...
