Say you were put into a school district that has very little money and they could not afford buying the Fitnessgram software. Besides writing a grant to get it, can anyone think of an alternative testing method that would not require any money?

My school purchased the FitnessGram software last year. This year I've been using the software during parent conferences to show how the students are doing. This could be a way to get your school to purchase the program as a way to report your results to the parents.

One thing that you could try to do is to ask the parent/teacher group at your school. You could also ask the local businesses if they would like to make a donation. I've heard that some hospitals would donate money to PE programs if you have a good proposal and can show how the funds could improve the health of the students in your school. This could be done with purchasing the FitnessGram software and also the Polar heart rate monitors of TriFit system.
