I went to a private all boys highschool and we would have shirts vs skins games. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about that because I would like to teach at that school someday.

Rich, I would have to say no to shirts vs. skins games. I realize it would be performed at an all boys school, but some boys may be self-conscience about how they look.

I would also have to disagree with this. Most boys probably were in better shape then most of the youth today, and weren't as self conscious. Many instead of skins, you could try bandanas around their arm to seperate teams.

I would definitely disagree with this also. There are going to be some boys who just feel very self conscience. Like the previous post said you could sub for the skins and give them different colored shirts or something.

Shirts vs skins is going to do the opposite of what physical activity was intended to do. Those who don't want to take their shirts off will find a way to not participate in class at all. This just leads to problems in the long run from students, administration, and parents. Use pinnies instead, they are a cheap fix to the problem

I feel that this is a good way to seperate teams amung same sex games, but that it makes many people feel insecure. Why bother if people are worried about their looks instead of the game, just seperate with the traditional pennies.
