Do you think that having students at the high school level give presentations on health topics or fitness topics during a PE class and teaching it to the rest of the students would be something that kids would like or dislike? Would this help the students understand better and give them knowledge for the rest of their lives?

Hello Matthew, this is a great question and I think it depends on how the teacher presents the assignment. If it were a group project then they would be given the freedom to research their own information, but also gain experience working within a group setting. I think that it could only benefit the student in giving them something to research that they are interested in.

Hey Nick and Matt! I think as a teacher we need to mix things up and incorporate both approaches. Students should for sure have the opportunity to research and present a topic of their interest, but on the other hand i also believe as a teacher we should assign them certain topics to present on as well. Students need to expand their knowledge out of their interest zone and research topics they may have never been introduced to before
