My question pertains to coaches out there who have to draw the line between helping your team win games and helping the individual win as a person. Sometimes in schools student athletes are given perks and too much leeway that most other students dont recieve. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but when abused it is. Student athletes should be held to higher standards and their grades need to be put first but so often you hear how coaches can use their pull to get a student a better grade or help them out with extra credit assignments. I want to know where this fine line is between helping your squad and hurting a players development as a student and learner. Thanks!
