What are some of the ways you discipline and motivate your team when they are losing? Is it different from when you are winning?

There are many different ways to look at discipline. You have to look at their performance first. Are they playing poorly meaning they cannot do the simplest tasks right or is it one of those days where nothing seems to go right for them. I have gained the respect from my players where if they are not performing well I do not have to yell or scream just give a positive lets go, fix it attitude. I do not believe in screaming for discipline. If they are not performing maybe I have not prepared them well enough.

I think the best way to handle disipline is at the begining of the season. If the students know what is expected from them and the coach tells the players how they should perform or act then the players will know why there is a problem. If the problem does not get corrected then the players know what will happen.
