So from a young age many people think that being a goalkeeper in some sports means that "they must not be very good, or they are slow and lazy so just stick them in the goal." Personally, as a goalkeepeer in soccer I find this offensive and totally untrue. I find myself working ten times harder than field players in soccer because I have to be good with my hands and my feet. I am sure this is the case for many other sports as well. So, what are your thoughts on this topic, do you feel that this stereotype is negative and should try to be eliminated?
