I am a physical education major at Slippery Rock University. My parents are both physical education teachers at different schools in my home town. At their schools, the administration made it possible for athletes who are participating in a team sport for the school, to take their practice time for their sport and count it for their phys-ed class time and credit. Does anyone else have this problem in their school? Is their anything that can be said to help reverse this rule?

I don't agree with this rule because they are not learning anything about being physically active. It also is only doing one activity and is extra curricular for a reason.
