I find it very important that in High School students are not pressured to perform, but rather made aware of how important the time they spend in high school is. Academics and athletics are very valuable assets to any high school student. Please share your thoughts on what is the best ways to talk to your students, players, or children about this issue.

I believe that academics should be pushed mainly over the athletics part. I'm not saying this because I'm not an athlete, I just think that some students in high-school think that their athletics might be able to carry them throughout their entire life. This is not always true, there are some cases where professional sports might just be the way for them to go, but also a good education is essential for them to further their careers and lives.
