I want to know what people feel about coaching rec sports in the summer like summer league baseball. I coach in my local baseball league. I tend to have a problem with these associations. In my league the commisioner decided that one player is too good, he rated hime an A++ player and gave the kid limits on the number of innings he can pitch and play. I fee lthat this takes away from the real reason that the kid is there, which is to have fun. People say to me that he should play in a more competitive league if he wishes to play more, but the problem i have with that is that he wants to play with his friends and who cares where he plays. |
