The AAHPERD national convention takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago April 12-16, 2005 "The Present is Our Future"
A NASPE-talk and ADAPT-talk meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 14, at 9-9:50 am in the Sheraton Hotel - Ontario Room. NASPE forum will also meet at the same time. Hope to see you there! |

Hi from Europe - I am a European high school teacher and team handball trainer who is specialized in Education and Psychology and I will be in America for a few weeks this summer. I have degrees in English, Physical Education and one Master Degree in Education and Psychology and I would be very interested to take part in one or two summer workshops, if I just could find any!
I would be interested in anything sport related, like
anything from education and psychology of sports,
group dynamics (and sports),
professional programmes for young athletes,
something related to team handball, which is the sport I work in,
My aim is just to get another view on sport related subjects, to listen to other opinions and to get insight in other philosophies and programmes.
Do you have any information about programmes? If it is not possibble to find something suitable, do you know any institution where I can find workshop schedules in the west of the United States between the middle of July and the middle of August?

Hi,i'm a special educator and a sports coordinator for my school which deals with chidren with cerebral palsy. i'm interested in adaptive pe, disabled sports and physical therapy. any idea of seminars, workshops, conferences or courses in these areas.
