Does anyone think it would be a good idea to schedule a field day to take a high school class to the local driving range and let them hit golf balls for 30-45 minutes? I know that I get a pretty good workout from the driving range, and I think students will like it because it's a nice change of pace and it gets them outside.

I think it is a great idea Thomas. I would think it would be a great way to end a unit on golf and take students to an actual driving range. A great motivator for students to focus on learning proper technique in class and then take it to a real life setting. Also a good way for the driving range to tap into a new revenue.

I also agree. Also, I know many businesses entertain their clients with a round of golf. So, I think it would be very beneficial for students in high school to learn how to play the game for the future.
