In my area, there is no lacrosse but I picked it up in college and thought it would be great to teach in a phys ed lesson. What age group do would be acceptable to teach lacrosse skills?

As soon as they can hole a stick!!!
US Lacrosse has developed a curriculum for schools. They are often at the national AAHPERD convention. Skills can be taught early.

I know of kids as young as 5 years old who can catch and throw and know basic components of lacrosse, and suprisingly they picked it up faster than some beginers in high school that I worked with.

My high school offered lacrosse as a sport, but they did not offer it in physical education classes. I always thought that it should have been included in the curriculum since it is a sport that can be taught easily. It is a fun sport that all students could participate in and I believe it should be included in the school’s curriculum.
