The Council for School Leadership in Physical Education (CSLPE) will recognize outstanding K-12 professionals at the 2006 National AAHPERD Convention in Salt Lake City. Nominations are open until October 15 for the Channing Mann Award and the Distinguished Leadership Award.
The Channing Mann Outstanding Physical Education Administrator Award is the highest recognition bestowed by CSLPE and honors those individuals who have dedicated themselves to excellence as K-12 administrators or supervisors, in contributions to their profession, and in service to the mission of CSLPE. These individuals exemplify the highest standards in accomplishment and innovation.
The Distinguished Leadership in Physical Education Award is presented to individuals for successful leadership and dedication to the profession of physical education. Candidates will have demonstrated creative/innovative programs for service to their school, community, state, or nation through physical education.
