I was reading an article about fitness testing in Dubai. They are requiring teachers to also do the fitness testing and if they do not pass they could lose their job. I think this is a really great idea so students have a good role model and not someone who is unhealthy telling them why they should be. What do you think?

I also believe that this is a very good idea. I know when I was in High School we had a Physical Education teacher that most likely couldn't make one full lap around the track, and he was supposed to teach us about good healthy choices and personal fitness? Needless to say no one really took him seriously.

Come back and discuss this when you are 56 years old and have taught PE for 33+ years.
I can do a stair master for an hour (5 miles).
My level of fitness is good but things change with illnesses and stress induced injuries, etc.
