Hi all,
I am a student in Australia studying Physical Education. I was wondering, what are your thoughts on the importance teaching PE when kids are young. I believe that it is extremely important and more emphasis is place on more general learning. They should be hand in hand. Kids should be fit and healthy while learning at school, and participating in PE achieves this. What are your thoughts?

I completely agree with you. It is important for young students to learn the importance of being active early. Being active can give the students an overall good mood feeling which can then be carried over into the classroom setting. This, in turn, can improve the studnet's attention level while learning.
