As a future Physical Education professional, I was considering teaching a biking lesson to students in grades 3 on up. Would this be beneficial to the students? Or should I wait until high-school?

Yes.... a biking lesson or unit is very beneficial to teach at the 3rd-5th grade levels. I know there are some bike resources out there to use to get you started depending on your area. There are bike clubs that can assist as well. I teach k-5 and do a bike unit for 5th grade they love it.
