Do you think all P.E. classes should have an outdoors unit with activities such as ice breakers, initiative games, trust building activities, and rock climbing skills?

I think that all PE classes should have ice breaker games, trust building, etc. My senior year we just started these activities and I feel it made our class closer. Also, it was a good way to start off a semester or year. In my outdoor pursuits class our class was based around these activities and it made me realize that they are extremely important for a class. So I do think that it is a good idea to put those different games in the class.

I agree with Ashley. I think that these are all beneficial activities. There is so much to gain from doing these activities together as a class. It promotes healthier relationships among students. Also many of these activities include skills that are not found in other areas of the curriculum. I think some sort of trust building activities would be great with a group of students that are struggling to work as a group.
