At my high school dance classes were offered to those that were not interested in sports but yet liked staying active. Dance class could be taken in replace of a physical education class. What are some thoughts on this? Should it be allowed? I mean if this was provided in every school district do you think it will take away from the students learning? They should be provided with choices right? And also keep in mind those teachers that would be teaching dance as a substitute for physical education will have a degree in both PE and Dance (mandatory).
