I heard the other day people talking about PE being more of a hassle to high school students than benefitial. They are too worried and say that it interfers with the way they look and smell throughout the day and it does not help them at all. What these students do not know is that PE is going to not really benefit them as much now as it will later in life. When they start t get old and stiff they will know a solution to the problem insteadof just sitting around and doing nothing. What does everyone else think of these comments. I say one word.. Get a shower.

PE class is an essential part of any child's education. Developing their minds is unarguable in today's society but why is it so hard to understand that this is only 50% of the equation to a well rounded, healthy individual? PE class, like all other classes teach kids skills that they can use for the rest of their adulthood (not only skills, but more importantly, healthy habits). This is not to say PE class doesn’t have a long way to go in developing into something kids are more excited about, but some will agree this is also the case with statistics class. Also, you’re completely right….get a shower. Kids may need longer PE periods in their schools. Not only to maintain proper hygiene but to fully engage and excel at physical activities on a weekly basis, and see improvements that are encouraging.
