What are some good supplements to use in order to put on some extra pounds. I have been lifting for a couple of weeks and I have noticed alot more definition and an increase in strength, but I can't seem to put on any weight.

There is no substitution for hard work and proper nutrition. If you have only been working out for a couple weeks give yourself time. You may want to up your daily calories to help had a few pounds. Slow and steady gains are usually the healthy ones. Make sure you are getting a wide variety of foods and eating many times a day. When I was in a gaining drought I basically ate, ate and ate some more. I would eat each meal until I was full. This helped me big time in gaining both size and strength. Eat healthy and train hard. Good Luck and let me know how it goes!

Any Whey protein powder will help you to not only gain weight, but to build muscle. Another supplement that you can take, which many weight lifters trying to gain weight take, is "Weight Gainer." It has an extremely high amount of calories and protein to help you to gain weight and add muscle. Besides the supplements, you should eat 7-8 meals a day. You should also eat 1.5 grams of protein for each pound that you weigh.

Creatine is a supplement that will give a person size, strength, and faster recovery time. If you would get into this supplement be sure to read and follow the directions carefully. One can gain a few pounds very in a short span and will build lean muscle.
