When teaching upper levels of Health in High School, is it practical to get into the different energy systems? I think it could be useful to students who intend to stay active to know what energy systems they will be using and what types of calories those energy systems use (fats, carbohydrates, protein, maybe even alcohol). However, some may argue that this is more appropriate content for the Biology Department when in High School. Any help would be appreciated.
