As we all know, breakfast is considered to be the most important meal of the day. Students tend to skip over eating breakfast and just wait to eat lunch. During their classes, they become weak and their attention span goes elsewhere. Do you elieve that it is important to eat breakfast especially if you have physical education class that day?

Breakfast is important regardless whether there is activity planned for their day or not. Not only is it important to start the day with energy in reserve, but since students are in an important growing phase of their life, they should not miss ANY meal, let alone breakfast

It is extremely important to eat breakfast in all cases it is much better to eat smaller quantities and more frequently than more quantity less frequent or not at wall. On top of eating breakfast it is also important to stay well hydrated.

I think no matter what activities one is involved in during the day, breakfast should be the first thing to do before starting the day. Having breakfast starts the metabolism in the morning. I have also found that by eating breakfast, I am more alert in my classes. Breakfast truely is the most important meal of the day, but unfortunately the most forgotten meal of the day. This should definitely be an issue to address in schools to make students realize what they are missing.

Every person should eat breakfast without even thinking of not to. After a long night of fasting, our bodies are depleted of nutrients it needs to fully function. A healthy breakfast can jump start any student and prepare them for school. Even if they have no time to cook, they should grab fruit or a piece of bread. Anything is better then nothing.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but probably the most inconvenient, especially for the non-morning person. However, "breakfast" is a literal term - you're "breaking the fast" of not eating for several hours. I used to not eat breakfast, one reason being because I just wasn't hungry for it; however, after slowly getting my stomach used to me eating in the morning by eating small things, such as a banana, I now enjoy eating breakfast, and I am able to function more efficiently in the morning.

I think that it is extremely important. From personal experience i know that if i dont eat every few hours I get very weak and distraught in the classroom. Some people might say they only need caffeine in the morning to get going, but that will not take away the feeling of being hungry, and the dizziness that comes with it. It is hard enough to concentrate class period after class period alone, rather than trying to do it when your stomach is growling.

Breakfast is extremely important. However, i know from personal experience some people just do not develop an appetite until later in the day and the thought of eating makes them nauseas. If this is the case, a protein shake or fruit smoothie would do the trick. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day it not only kick starts your metabolism but it fuels your body for the rest of the day.

Yes! Breakfast is a huge part of everyday; it has been considered that people who eat breakfast are mentally prepared for the day as well as able to lose weight more efficiently. Breakfast is especially important for children; they are so energetic and need fuel for all day.

Of course because you need the energy from the food to burn to give you energy because fat burns in a carbohydrate flame.

Breakfast for students becomes a very difficult meal to attend for some students, because of their "Night Owl" mentality and have a hard time attending early morning breakfast. This becomes especially difficult in a smaller school where there are certain windows of opportunity to eat in the commons. In the end it basically comes down to weighing whether it is more important to get breakfast or sleep for an extra hour.

Requesting sample breakfasts and why you believe that it is appropriate for a fitness lifestyle.

Breakfast should consist of fruit, if anything. You want to eat the simplest thing your body can metabolize in the morning. You should also not eat right when you wake up. Your body is still digesting the food you ate last night and you should not eat again until you are really hungry. The notion that breakfast is the most important meal of the day is a MYTH! This slogan was brought on by the dairy farmers of America and the FDA. I personally don't think breakfast fuels a fitness lifestyle in and of itself. The meals you eat throughout the day, the type and quality of food you are putting into your body, and the portion size should be considered before recommending sample breakfasts.

It is so important for the child to have a breakfast rich in complex carboydrates, fibrous carbs, and some form of protein in the morning. I have worked with children and adults who have almost passed out on me because of not eating and being physically acitve. It is critical for your blood sugar and energy levels as well as the key to your metabolism. That first meal jump starts your metabolism. It keeps your internal furnace reved up! Children need nutrients for brain function as well as having energy to complete physical activity.

Breakfast should be apart of a daily routine. It is a fact that students perform and pay better attention in class after eating a breakfast. For as far as i know that most schools offer breakfast in the morning for a pretty cheap. That helps out on the kids that have problems waking up if they are already at school and have the opportunity to eat then.
