I have a little borther who is 13 years old and he has become very self-concious about what h e eats. Being a growing boy and pretty active as well what kind of advise can I give him to get him to eat more and more healthy foods besides the obvious, "You need to eat to grow?"

You should be able to inform your brother on the types of healthy foods he should be eating and the dangerous effects that eating too little can have on his body. Being that he is 13 it is essential that he gets the rights nutrients in his body to perform not only in physical activity, but simply in everyday activites as well.
