When I was a studnet in health class, my teacher was really weird about teaching the drug unit and going over depression and suicide. I now know why he was weird about it, it's a sensative sunject and no teacher wants to give students any ideas on how to use drugs or new drugs or how to hurt themselves. How do you educate students on sensative subjects like drug use and suicide without giving them ideas?

I was taught to teach any healthy class with sensitivity. You don't know of your students life outside of school. You need to keep and open mind about any subject expecially drugs and suicide. They are both important, and dangerous subjects that some students may be more sensative about them then others.
