This month we are honored to have Dr. Chuck Corbin as our guest editor.

Dr. Corbin is currently a professor at Arizona State University, and he's recognized internationally as an expert in physical activity, health and wellness promotion, and youth physical fitness. He has authored, co-authored, or been an editor of more than 70 books, and has published more than 175 professional, research, and popular articles.

Dr. Corbin's contribution as a guest editor is his manuscript entitled "The Goals of Physical Education: Not All of Our Goals Are Equal"

 HELP OHIO AHPERD
Since 1999, Ohio has been one of only two states in the nation that does not have physical education standards. In May the Westerville School Board voted to eliminate Physical Education for Grade 8 students during the 2004-2005 school year. OAHPERD is conducting a letter writing campaign to have state PE standards reinstated. Add your support to Senate Bill 81.
