For this issue of Interdisciplinary PE, I present five different
sites that feature ready-to-use ideas and activities or resources
for class projects and homework assignments to be integrated into
your curriculum. I hope you enjoy them!
As an aside, in a recent JOPERD (Vol. 73, No. 2, pp. 31-36),
a useful article on integrating elementary PE and science appears.

How to make the perfect
set shot |
Have no fear, physics is here to help perfect your
basketball shooting skills.
At the Fear of Physics website, a simulation of the perfect basketball
set shot is offered (among other pages). You provide the trajectory,
distance from the basket, and ball speed upon release and the simulation
tells and shows the outcome of your shot.
